That interviewer was great. She didn’t break down laughing loudly at everything he said but she chuckled politely and at the right times and got every joke he made and her questions were good and relevant and she kept the interview going. This is one of the smoothest interviews I’ve seen Ricky Gervais do.

I didn’t think was that great. The writing I mean. It was just ordinary. Andy was just too nasty, like he was cartoon nasty. It just wasn’t that funny. This interview is funnier.

a very funny man indeed.. he’s allowed to be as smug as he is with some things, and although it looks like he genuinely means it sometimes, I don’t think he ever does.. he just likes to push the boundaries of where people think he should draw the line
