When did this become about England vs America? Seriously?
Anyways I love Ricky Gervais, his humor just has me cracking up for days. But he is right, America’s perception of the UK is that they are friendly. Don’t see how, when we have Simon Cowell around as an example.

In response to your insult, I will say that I’m neither fat nor balding; I weigh 170 lbs and stand 6 ft 2 inches, with a full head of hair. Paranoid doesn’t even make sense. How does correcting your grammar equate to paranoia? That’s not being paranoid, it’s being precise. There is, in fact, a difference, but I doubt you would know what it is.

If it were to be anything now it’d be a teenager in a late 90s Adidas tracksuit outside a corner shop asking for fags.
But there’s so many different types, like in any culture of course but more so in places like the UK and US because we’re so easy living and there really isn’t ONE CULTURE that’s apposed to each generation like you could argue for places like China or Japan.
But if I had to choose ANY one image for the UK… I mean I tend to again just think of a chav image.
