I loved The Office, I adored Extras but I just thought Ghost Town was ok. I do think Ricky should stick to writing his own material instead of working off someone else’s script because he does it better than anyone else in the world.

I’m not trying to downplay it lol.
It’s good for what it is but the original is just that… The original and endlessly better, more realistic, naturalistic and funny. On so many levels.
So I just think it’s good to watch the original first

Yeah well if you haven’t seen the US version – I urge you to watch the UK first.
It’s the original and easily the best. I’m not taking anything away from the US version, they’ve done a good job.
But you need to know Brent first
the US version will pale in comparison after that. Still good though.

Yeah I am guilty of not watching office. I need to dedicate some time for it and watch both the seasons.
I live in US, so I guess I can be excused a little for that.

lol well did you not watch The Office?
The scene where Brent breaks down n begs for his job back is some of the most realistic acting I’ve ever seen.
Go watch that. He’s been able to do serious from day one.

He is a very good actor has good sense of timing as a comedian but I never thought he could pull off a serious scene. Boy was I wrong, he took me by total surprise in that last scene in the Extras Xmas special.
