Love the expressions/closeups toward the end where he leaves out those words you can’t say on network tv, was waiting to see how he’d handle that. Great to see this!

At that point in time, they dropped the Oingo part of the band name.
Notice the horn section is gone to signify the change.

NO, in fact he calls them fucking ‘Bongo’, like Bongo drum, clueless fucking idiot. The priceless part is in the interview after where Leno says Tim Burton was nice and weird and Danny leans forward, smiles very oddly and says ‘How do you mean, Jay’ in the creepiest, pervy Southern California voice ever! Jay turns red and the crowd goes wild. One of Danny’s best moments!

Well at this point, they were Boingo without the Oingo. So in fact Jay’s right-winged mentality had no trouble understanding these concepts.
But hey, think what you want; I watch this for Boingo not Jay Leno.

Thanks for posting this.. I had no idea that they were ever on Leno.. man I wish I had seen that one. Wish it was in color! but still Black and White Danny is better than no Danny at all!
