Also, as a visual artist I can tell you most people borrow something, turn it inside out, backward, fast forwards and then re-create it with a fresh perspective. Even Michaelangelo drew from models, and not from his head. I don’t think the models sued him…it’s art. Its supposed to be fun. And it is! For positive people!

Many times artists ask permission to sample music, and many times the original artist give a flattered, “yes.” That’s staying positive.

god you guys…no music IS original, this isn’t a ripoff of depeche mode, it just sounds similar, just like kelly clarkson’s already gone sounds ALOT like beyonce’s halo, but neither artist copied off one another. next thing you know you’re going to ask ramen noodle company to file litigation against instant noodle bowls =.=

btw, sounding similar isn’t plagarism, plagarism would be avril lavign’s girlfriend song.

All you people who are critisising Lady Gaga and other artist can jus piss off, listen it doesnt matter is shes ugly, beautiful male or female AT LEAST SHE DID SOMETHING WITH HER LIFE AND BECAME FAMOUS!! Lady Gaga is one of THE best artists i have ever heard, you people should apreciate that you have people to provide you with music and entertainment…Music is an Art and All famous music writiers and sungers have a Unique ways of creating it so shutup. If you dont like it then dont listen to it

im not sure i understand how this is a depeche mode rip off? i am pretty well versed in depeche mode’s repertoire and i see no obvious similarities?

OMFG how is it that an artist that does nothing but sample other artist music become popular? it isn’t innovative or an homage, its just not creative at all. anyone who thinks this song is original, has no knowledge or appreciation for music as a whole. depeche mode should be like radiohead in the sense that they should sue for taking sampled music they created and have played on this awful music…I bet the same people that like this song likes firefly’s by that owl city band…disgusting.
