Shes got a good position, controls the horse well, okay its an amazing horse but it takes a good rider to get it to perform! well done katie, she must have been so nervous.

katie price… a person to respect? i think so. she has had a lot of bad press, but she generally is a nice person.

she was pretty good, and before you say im slaging her off im not. its just i don’t think she should just suddenly say oh i have been riding before my modelling careea! dosn’t mean she is better than non clebs you no! yeah she might be doing some flying changes and extenstion, but non famous people can do that aswell as her, and they train their horses them selves! the fact is she hasn’t put in all the effort some of us have to perfect a horse!

well clearly she has to be to a certain degree. no horse just does flying changes and half passes as soon as you sit on it.
and yeah she does get advantages for having money and she is a very smart woman for taking them. in the horse world there are hunderds of people who just buy a fab horse and win everything. and if i had the money i know i would

I think most people could do that if they were given a schoolmaster and trained by Andrew Gould! It’s not as if she bought that horse for peanuts and trained it herself is it? And worked her way up from the very bottom like normal people! That horse was bred for the job and probably was worth £10k by the time it was 2! Most people can’t afford horses with bloodlines and ability like that and most of the people on here would probably KILL to ride a top horse like that for 30 mins!

I want to like her as she seems a down to earth girl on tv, but its a shame she gets to do things like this because of her status and money and not because she is a talented rider.

she wasn’t even wearing a shirt under the jacket , whatta tramp , this is top level showing not catwalk!!
and funny , she just gets to buy her way in but people like us have to work our arse’s off to get to HOYS , and yes i am a better rider than her , sorry has to be said

Maybe she isnt the best rider…but who?
She, like evry other rider out there, has to deal with the nerves and anxiety that comes along with the compitition but on top of that has the press/paparazzi on her back to add to the pressure….and not to mention peoples attitude towards her given her lifestyle.
I reckon shes pretty brave and saying she “cheapens” everything just proves the theory that the equestrian world is full of snobs.

i wish people would not keep slagging her off iv got a horse and yes kate is not the best rider but she got most things people would kill for horses fame money a good singing voice you cant have all that and be good at riding

I bet the guys on the side of her are thinking “Ohhh my god, how embaressing” Real riders who work hard and have talent having to ride alongside someone who bought her way in. It took them years and years i bet….and took katie a few cheesy press shots and a cheque.

i have been competing for 9 years and i could just say i want to do dressage in the evening performance at HOYS they would be like errr no…
she cant ride, shes all over the place, shes making an absolute mockery out of people who spend hundreds of thousands of pounds trying to get to HOYS what with her stupid tacky equestrain range and dressage all over the country shes a disgrace to the dressage proffession.
STOP BUMMING HER DEAD HARD, SHES A GLAMOUR MODEL!!!!!
