listen first, she said that the salt is for exfoliating not for hydrating. Some people do not like to have plastic bits in the exfoliant, so salt and sugar is a good alternative.

Olive oil is great for my dry and sensitive skin. I now use it purely instead of creams and stuff….it also makes a great peeling with fine sea sand. I swear by it and am annoyed I did not discover that earlier (after spending so much money on expensive ineffective cosmetics). However, I use organic olive oil, it is almost fragrance-neutral.

My face was stiff and cracking. I think I used too much flour. :( Reapplying olive oil afterward made it feel better.

she doesnt know what whisking is, she talks like a crackhead, and she’s fueling the myth that salt is good for your skin. it doesnt hydrate it DRIES out the skin. its good to go to the beach once in a while to exfoliate your feet but at the same time the salt water will dry out your skin. the only good part is the grainy sand. thats why people believe these salt scrubs ands sugar scrubs are beneficial
