I recently got into hip hop and rap so I thought i’d get some stuff like jay z, nas, dr. dre, but still this album blows them out of the water, even the blueprint. every song is like a short film or something, it holds my attention all the way until the end.

eminem said in an interview (see the jimmy kimmel show) he has no hatred at all against gays, and his relationship to elton john is reeeally tight, he said they talk almost every other day and that it was elton who helped slim of drugs.

Ems lyrics might be hateful, that doesn’t mean shit though. He does it to sell records, as does every other rapper out there. There are a TON of rappers that have hateful lyrics towards gays, other races, etc. Does that mean they really feel that way? No, like many rappers have said, it’s just a story, or a commentary, that’s not really how they feel.

he does produce some pretty hateful lyrics towards gays but i think that’s just to sell records. this doesn’t excuse it but i don’t think he harbors some deep hatred towards them-and just because you and elton john share a stage really doesn’t mean anything.
